Yesterdays evening at Klubi in Turku turned out to be a great success. Both bands did well and the dj´s were marvelous! Thanks to everyone who attended and as a bonus made our economy look quite bright for once (haha).

"Your stories and your thoughts" is now released in Japan through a licensing deal with the Japanese 1977 Records. The sleeve for their release looks like this:

This weeks episode of MTV´s "This is our music" will feature Mike Alway, who did the sleeve for our album. The show will be re-broadcasted on Tuesday I think.

Due to server problems we had to remove our two EPs from our site, there were just too many of you downloading it! We´ll try to get around these problems and hopefully we can put the mp3s back on our site at a later point. Sorry.

At different occasions we´ve been asked if we still sell our cd-r EPs. We have decided to not make any more copies of them, but for those of you who still want the songs we made both EPs downloadable from the discography section. On the same page you´ll find links to the cover art for the two EPs. From now on you can make your own lfp records!

Tomorrow we´re playing at Poppikerho (Klubi, Tampere). Other acts will be Wojciech and the Rollstons. I´m sure it will be a great night. Our album will be sold at the concert, and as i´m writing this the album is finally available from Stupidos Shop in Helsinki aswell.

Einar and Johann will be guests at Musikrepubliken at radio X3m today. The show will go on from 16:00-18:00, Some songs from our album will probably be broadcasted aswell. You should be able to listen to the show from their website.
We have decided NOT to sell the album via our site, so if you live in Finland please visit Stupido Shop in Helsinki (mailorder aswell), they should have the album by the end of next week. And as stated before, if you live elsewhere you should at least find "Your stories and your thoughts" through Siesta´s online shop.

Still Le futur pompiste is a popgroup rather than a team of webdesigners, and the BIG news is that our debut album "Your Stories And Your Thoughts" will be released on the 24:th of September. That´s on Friday. If you live in Finland you can soon buy it via us or by visiting Stupido Shop in Helsinki. For those of you not living in Finland, please ask your local record dealer or visit Siesta´s online shop.

Gothenburg concert cancelled, sorry. This might still change, but most likely not. Looking foreward to the other gigs though! For the remaining Sweden gigs Henry from Cats on fire has promised to help us with some moog-stuff, and Janne´s as usual with us on the flute. So don´t miss!

Our Sweden mini-tour is getting closer, as said before we´re playng at Fritz´s corner in Stockholm on Wednesday next week, and on Saturday we´re playing at the WE&YOU festival in Bulltoftaparken, Malmoe. The concert at Fritz Corner in Stockholm will be played together with Bishop Allen (US) instead of Tompaulin as mentioned earlier.

More concert dates for Sweden. On the 21:st of July we´re playing on the roof of Kulturhuset in Stockholm together with Tompaulin (UK) and Cats on fire. At this moment we´re waiting for confirmation on a gig in Gothenburg on the 22:nd of July, more on this later.

The recording, mixing and mastering of our debut album is now complete, and we are very happy with the outcome. The album will be titled “Your Stories And Your Thoughts” and is scheduled to be released about mid-June.

The recording sessions has progressed very nicely. At the moment we´re in the middle of the mixing process and things seem to turn out very well indeed. The good news of the day is that adorable él graphic has showed interest in designing the sleeve for us.

Now it´s official!!
The record deal with Siesta records is signed and the recording of our debute album will commence on Monday. The album is due be released in the summer but the exact date is still open.
